AFA08 - Part 5 end

There were rows of displays of all kinds of figurines for us to take photographs. It was so crowded that I only managed to take a few, well, I was quite lazy and tired to brave through the crowd. =.=

These were so cute~~~ >.<

Never fail to steal the highlight again.

I don't know who is that "angel" but it was beautiful, especially that pair of wings~~
Finally, I managed to get a shot of Cloud-kun. {{o(>.<)0}}

He was the cutest and in great demand on that day!!! Everyone wanted to take a shot of him. Well, there were also Death note characters on display but...wasn't he the cutest!!??!!!

Well folks, we were coming to an end. The only regret I had was not able to gather my encourage to request a shot with one of the Akatsuki member from Naruto when we were leaving.

AFA08 - Part 4

There were also display of all the competitor's works, I think this is one is good and it came out 1st in the senior category?? Well, I wasn't really paying attention to that. =p

The posters were great but it was selling at $20 per piece.

AFA08 - Part 3

Here you see them again, the highlights of that day. =D

This little cutie is actually from a new free online game that is already or about to launch. There is a booth doing a promotion of this. Maybe, I shall try it out sometime. ^^

Miniatures, alot of them and there are also kits to actually do sushi roll that are edible. O_O

AFA08 - Part 2

There are alot of Gundam models, displaying for people to take photographs. I am not familiar with Gundam models but I took it because they looked so cool~~~Oh, there was a "live" Gundam, walking around the Fest on that day and carrying Ichigo's blade. (from Bleach)

I like this pair of Gundam sparing. However, I have no idea which Gundam series they came from.

Gundam again.

Accordingly to Min, this giant-size Gundam came out from the latest Gundam series, Gundam 00.

This is the walking big giant, that was roaming around on that day.

AFA08 - Part 1

Last Saturday, I went to the AFA08 with Min. It was so crowded and packed with people, carrying cameras, professional cameras and alot of people cosplaying different characters from the anime / manga even though the cosplay competition was held on Sunday.

Upon reaching, we went to watch the trailer of this incoming anime, " The Sky Crawler".
It will be showing in Singapore on the 27th November, if I remember correctly. ^^

There are posters, showing the latest anime titles.

I saw alot of people, taking photos of these "characters" so I just followed the "white rabbit" hehe...I didn't even know which characters they came out from. =.=III

I shall post most of the photos that I took in my next entry, this entry is full.

Status

Today, I had my lunch at the Chinese Temple, near my office.

It was my first time, going to the Chinese Temple for meal. Today was the 15Th of the Chinese Lunar, and most of the Chinese Temples will provide free vegetarian food, sort of buffet style, to the public. Although it was free of charge, but normally, we will pay back as a form of donation, but the amount is up to individual, is based on the sincerity of your heart. I had made a small donation and when I go to Temple, I will always make a donation. ^___^

My Lady boss happened to remember that Today was the 15TH, so she asked me if I want to have vegetarian food with her, and suddenly, we though of visiting the Temple and so, here we went.

It was crowded, especially the canteen. All of people were there for the lunch, even office ladies and china workers were seen, but majority were the senior citizens, of course. The Chinese older generation in Singapore are all Buddhism, my parents too.

Later part in the afternoon, I had helped, to set up the Christmas in our office and done up the decorations. It was fun!! d(^o^)b

There may be Christmas dinner and gift exchange for the office but not confirmed yet. Hehe...

At this Moment

Today is the Day!!! Finally, I bought a Nintendo DS Lite for myself, after pinning it for the past one year!!!! YEAH!!!! (doing the hula dance) v(^____^)v

It was so unexpected, I didn't even plan to get now, at this moment. I was planning to get by mid-November or end of the year. However, after msning with Jo earlier on, we started to discuss about this and there was this sudden thought "Yes!! I am getting a Nintendo DS Lite now" and I went to game shop near my house to get it!! YEAH!!! (doing the hula dance again~~~~)

There were quite a number of colours for selection; black, dark blue, light blue, light pink, metallic pink, more towards maroon and silver. I was selecting between silver and metallic pink before the shop person said, alot of girls have selected metallic pink, then I have decided to get a silver one instead. Somehow, metallic pink is too girlish for me, I think silver, a more plain colour, not fanciful, just okay for me.

Oh~~I shall stop here, time to explorer my new DS~~~
