pissed off

I can't believe!!! How come when you need company, every single one is not free!!!!

My friend's friend is having a BBQ at Pasir Ris Chalet on the 10th May, Saturday.

I agreed that I will be going and my friend asked me to bring friends along. So I started to "gather" people but every one I asked not free...what a coincident!!

When they ask you out...I told them I was busy and they started to nag that I am heartless...always busy to meet them...so where are you guys now!!!!!!

And friend A, stop sms~ing me to call for a chat when obviously you are as free as a bird!!!!

I will pluck off all your feathers the next time you call to say you are bored!!!!!

I hate it when you asked them, they said ask them again another day. Then another day, when I asked again, they started to talk about others things!!! How many times you want me to ask?? Must I go down on my knees and beg!!!!

Fine, I go myself.

Japan Trip 2008 - Part 3 / 2nd Day

This is not the main Asakusa Temple and it was forbidden to enter.

Personally, I am more comfortable at there than at church, because I think the temples in SG are somehow similar to it.

P.S. I am a half free-thinker...hohoho

This is the main temple, where the people pray. You need to toss coins into the big tray in front and say your prayers.

This is a pot of ashes and rumors said that it will improve your face complexion after applying the ashes on. Ooooo....O.o

But I didn't try. =P (siao)

Oh, did you see that man walking with his dog?? This is a familiar scene all over Tokyo and Osaka. Even on the train, regardless of female or male, they carry a small bag with the little doggies inside...so cute!!!

(Japanese like cute things, even dogs they rear also cute???!!!)

On our way out of the temple, we spotted this. Interesting.

I wonder what does it symbolizes??

Japan Trip 2008 - Part 2 / 2nd day

After entering the main gate of Asakusa Temple, there was a long path with shops on both sides, oops...heehee...we were too early on that day, we arrived around 7.47am...=.=III, leading all the way to the main temple at the far end.

We came across this hostel on our left side as we were walking down the path. Min and I were saying that maybe next time, we could try this hostel if we come to Tokyo again.

That's me, standing on one of the small lane along the main path. There were alot of small restaurants, along the small lane, which we wanted to grab our breakfast but unfortunately, they were closed.

The main temple was slowly visible to us.

For your information, the pinkish sakura that you used on both side on the top of the row of shops, they were just for decorative.

This was the real one. Heehee...

Sorry...if can't see the sakura clearly...couldn't help it. I am short and the tree is tall. =.=III

What I wanted most

I just happened to listen to 張惠妹's song "我要快乐" yesterday and I loved the lyrics. Most of it reflected what I have been feeling recently, especially this sentence "我要快乐哪怕笑的再大声" .

Haiz...I hate SG during this season.

It is damn hot, stupid weather!!!! I was sweating away, even when I was just sitting down, watching TV or reading books!!!! 熱い!!!

I just feel like stoning away~~~~

I was supposed to continue on my Japan Trip, the 2ND day but the hot weather is making me restless and lazy but I really had it drafted out...heehee...though only the title...:s

(Heehee, actually I couldn't remember the exact details for the 2ND day, I couldn't find the itinerary at all!!!)

Beside, I had a bad day last Friday and it continued till yesterday when I was doing my work at home, same problem as I had mentioned last Friday.

Haiz...can someone tell me how to vent my anger on my boss without getting sack??!!!

Justice!!! Where is Justice!!! @~@ I think I am going nuts because of the weather!!

I miss Japan!!!! Especially the cold weather (although I almost frozen to ice)

Japan Trip 2008 - Part 1 / 2nd Day

It was the 2nd day at Tokyo. Nice weather~~~lalalala~~

And this is the surrounding of my hostel, Tokyo Backpackers KS House. (Recommended for those who intend to go bagpack ^__^)

We were on our way to Asakusa Temple which was near Asakusa train station (of course). hehehe. Asakusa train station is only 20 minutes from our hostel, so the walking journey took around 25minutes??

BRRRRRR....It was a very cold morning and I was fully wrapped up. hehehe...I was wearing 4 pieces of clothings altogether, with one longjohn (Did I get the spelling correct??).

Min, my friend was wearing only 3 pieces. :s

(P.S. I am a person who cannot stand coldness and hotness)

This is a cover with sakura pattern printed on it. However, I have no idea this serves what purpose.

Next time, try look at the ground of Japan footpath and you will see plenty of different kind of covers, different in sizes as well.

I found it very interesting because different areas had different patterns on it. Kyoto and Osaka had different ones. >.-

Interesting, or should I say, unique building facade...heehee...

Finally, we reached the entrance of Asakusa Temple. YEAH!!!!!

Lousy Day

Today is a lousy day, filled with anger, fustration which led to numbness and
eventually guilty!!!

Why am I so soft-hearted!!??!!!

What a lousy day!!!!!

Japan Trip 2008 - Part 3 / 1st Day

One of the interesting building in Ginza. The pictures shown on the building would keep changing. Unfortunately, it was raining on that night. Our mood were dampened by it and we were tired from the 8 hours flight to reach Tokyo earlier on.

This was what I had for dinner. This bowl of soba cost around 300-400yen (S$5.6), which considered the cheapest food that we could find at Ginza.

Most importantly, it tasted good although we were standing while having it, HOT!

Ginza is well-known for having all the branded shops, considered one of the most high-end place in Japan.

Well, we didn't get anything at Ginza beside our dinner.

It was quite "peaceful" on the first night at Tokyo. Heehee...we didn't spend at all on other things. However, we were unawared of what happened the next day.

I wanna slaught my boss!!!!!

He messed up my drawings when I was away!!!!! Noooooooo!!!!

How could he!!! And he said I was too slow because I was too cautious of my work!!!!!

What was he talking about!!!!!

Someone, quick, get me my knife!!!!

Anything!! Slipper also can!!!!!

Japan Trip 2008-Part 2 / 1st Day

On our way to Ginza from Kuramae, at the train station, we found something interesting. Japan is a very interesting place, you will tend to find something cute or interesting at these normal places, eg. the train station. However I have no idea what was that.

This was also taken at the train station but I couldn't remember which train station was that, Kuramae or Ginza (??) Too bad, my camera (or shooting skills) not that excellent to capture the whole drawing on the wall. :s

One common thing you will find at the train station in Japan, (well...maybe other countries do have but SG doesn't have it) is lockers, rows and rows of lockers, various sizes and, of course, different prices. heehee...

At this moment, not in use of lockers but it was our survivors towards the mid of our trip.

Oh~~I love you~~~lockers~~HAHAHAHAHAHA

P.S. Don't mind the time shown on the photos, it was not accurate because I couldn't remember, did I set it to the time in Japan when I was there. Wakaranai~~~

Japan Trip 2008 - Part 1 / 1st Day

Upon arriving at Narita Airport on the 8th April 2008, Tuesday around 2pm - 3pm (Japan is one hour faster than SG), the first thing we did, was to get the night bus ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto and from Osaka back Tokyo.

The temperature outside was around 12 degree and raining heavily. Earlier on, the plane was having problem, trying to land at Narita Airport.

We took the subway from Narita Airport to our hostel at Kuramae.

P.S. Please look at the metal louvered plate below the seat. It was the heater.

This is the pasmo card. It serves as an Ez-link card that we used in SG but nicer looking. Heehee. (I still have it with me when back in SG, rather forsake the 500yen deposit to keep this card)

After checked in and deposited our luggage at the hostel, we headed off to Ginza. Gees...It was still raining heavily and cold, icy wind was hitting my face sharply.

I shall continue uploading some pictures taken at Ginza later. Gotta go now.

Busy Day

Busy...Dead...Shinimashita~~~

Tadaima!!!!

TADAIMA!!!! I am back from Japan!!! \(>o<)/

Back since last Sunday morning. I am totally exhausted from this trip but it was the most enjoyable trip so far!! Japan is great and a paradise for shopping. Excellent service as said by others. In addition, I bought a lot of things back, including a new suitcase!!! I felt "rich" when I was in Japan until the last 2-3 days. Oops!!

I am still not done with my unpacking of luggage and sorting out the photos taken, total of 3.8GB (!!!!) I brought 4GB of memory card with me to Japan.

I will most likely uploaded most of the photos based on each day itinerary. Maybe. Heehee...the lazy bugs in me will hinder it.

YES!!! I am 120% ready!! I am leaving for Japan tomorrow early morning!!!! YEAH!!YEAH!!

I will be back on the 20 April so cya then~~~byeeeee~~~

Song by Coldplay: Fix you

"Fix You"
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I...
Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
This is the song that Ruiling recommended to me, when I was going through a hard time, a few weeks back.
"Fix you" by Coldplay. I find the lyrics very meaningful and consoling.
And, thank you for being with me, in one of my darkest moment, Ruiling. =)

Blessed

Yesterday, Huijuan and I went to the Coffee Club at Marina Square for dinner. It had been a while since our last meet up during the Chinese New Year.

Huijuan recommended one dish on the menu which was quite nice but I forgot the name of that dish...=.=III and I had also ordered a chamomile blossom which was once recommended by Ruiling when we went to Coffee Club (again) but that time was at Orchard. heehee...

The atmosphere at the Coffee Club was good, quiet, well, that's because the customers were quite few, however the overall feel is very smoothing and tranquil. Recommended!!! In addition, the waiters are young boys, cute looking and they were quite attentive, in term of service, of course. Hahaha...

Last night was great. It had been a while since I had such a relaxing moment and great laugh.

And most importantly, I had been blessed. =D
